Prof. Tiziano Agostini is Full Professor of General Psychology at the Department of Life Sciences, University of Trieste (Italy). He conducted research and taught in the United States for two years. His research focuses on visual perception, psychological research methodology, experimental sport psychology, cognitive ergonomics, and emergency psychology, with a major contribution to colour perception theory. He has held several institutional and leadership roles at university and national level and is Editor-in-Chief of the scientific journal Gestalt Theory. He has authored over 190 scientific publications and, in 2024, received the Wolfgang Metzger Prize. He acted as the principal organizer of two editions of the European Conference on Visual Perception.
