Accessibility and Inclusion at ECP2027 – Belgrade

ECP2027 welcomes all participants and is committed to creating an accessible, inclusive and respectful Congress experience for everyone, regardless of disability, age, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, neurodiversity or other individual characteristics.
We recognise that participants may have different accessibility and inclusion needs. Please indicate any specific requirements when registering for ECP2027 so that the Organising Committee can take them into account when planning the programme and allocating session rooms. If you have specific questions or requests that you did not include during registration, please contact the Organising Committee.
Venue

Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade

The main Congress programme will take place at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, in the city centre.

The Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, has been involved in the IDEA-net initiative, which focuses on developing institutional capacities for inclusion, diversity, equity and access in higher education. The Faculty has organised activities addressing these issues and has explored opportunities for further strengthening an inclusive institutional environment.

  • Presenters and speakers will be asked to use microphones during all sessions where microphones are provided.
  • Questions from the audience should also be repeated using a microphone where available.
  • Further information on available hearing assistance and specific room facilities will be provided once the Congress programme and room allocation have been finalised.

Sight

We aim to facilitate access and orientation for participants with visual impairments.

  • Participants who require assistance with orientation around the Faculty are encouraged to contact the Organising Committee in advance.
  • Information about accessible routes and the location of Congress rooms will be made available to participants.
If you require a particular accessible route/hearing assistance/sighted guide or have specific requirements, please indicate this during registration or contact the Organising Committee in advance, so that we can discuss the available arrangements.

Participation and support

Accessible Presentations

We encourage all presenters to make their presentations as accessible and inclusive as possible.

Presenters should use accessible presentation practices, including the use of clear and readable slides, appropriate contrast, accessible text and figures, and clear verbal description of visual information where appropriate.

Dietary Requirements and Preferences

Vegetarian and other dietary options will be available during Congress catering. Participants with specific dietary requirements or allergies are encouraged to indicate them during registration so that appropriate arrangements can be considered.

Support Persons

If you require a support person, interpreter, guide or other form of assistance in order to participate in ECP2027, please indicate this during registration or contact the Organising Committee in advance. We will provide information on the arrangements available for the Congress.

Our aim is to make ECP2027 accessible, inclusive and welcoming, and to support the full participation of all Congress participants.
