Isabel María Herrera Sánchez An Associate Professor at the University of Seville, she is a social and community psychologist whose work focuses on designing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based psychosocial interventions. Her research examines psychosocial determinants of health behaviour and translates findings into practical resources, combining quantitative and qualitative methods. In recent years, she has led applied research on adolescent cannabis-use prevention, particularly in high-risk contexts and the juvenile justice system, integrating behaviour-change models with persuasive communication and audiovisual narratives. She served as Vice-Dean for Academic Studies at the Faculty of Psychology (2015–2019) and has coordinated competitive projects funded by the Spanish National Plan on Drugs and the University of Seville. Active in European networks, she was a member of EFPA’s Standing Committee on Community Psychology (2017–2025) and served as Convenor (2023–2025).
