Cintia Rodríguez (Emeritus professor of Developmental Psychology, University Autónoma, Madrid) studied in the School of Geneva where she worked as assistant on Inhelder’s team. Rodríguez studies early socio-cognitive development with a focus on the pragmatics of the object. She studies now the early manifestations of executive functions in everyday school contexts from the end of the first year of life, examining the challenges children give to themselves. In her last book, Springer 2025, The Social Life of Objects in Early Development, she and her team develop new perspectives on the Pragmatics of the Object in everyday contexts.
